Walgreens Boots Alliance have won an award from the United Nations Foundation in recognition of their colossal CSR efforts and we were tasked with creating a film to commemorate this with their internal and warm audiences.
For this project we worked with Animation Directors, Catfish Collective, who lovingly crafted over one hundred paper props, which were then bought to life using stop-frame animation.
From the initial briefing onward, we were looking for a less obvious, more creative way to frame a relatively corporate message. Our client agreed and felt that the hand-made, textured, personal aesthetic fitted with the subject matter and their focus on people perfectly.
Full of colour and visual surprises, it was important to us that the paper props could grow, pop, fold and scrunch and have a reach-out-and-touch-able feel, delighting and suprising the audience from one moment to the next.
